Community Service

We strive to teach our students the importance of reaching out to make a positive difference in our community. As economic conditions continue to put additional strain on the amount of food that is necessary to distribute to members of our surrounding community who are in need, we decided to offer our students a wonderful opportunity to assist in this effort. The students in our
school, participated in a community service project to benefit the Woodridge food pantry. They learned that this pantry is a member of America’s Second Harvest which allows you to purchase one ton of food from the Northern Illinois Food Bank for just $360! Through their generous efforts, they happily met their goal of raising enough money to purchase one ton of food and exceeded it. Don't we live in a wonderful community !
