Can you believe we are halfway through October. We have already had a teacher institute when my teachers either went away for a conference or worked in the building differentiating for our students in all our subjects. Today w
e also had a bullying assembly which reminded our students what to do when they are bullied and what to do when they see someone bullied. They all did a great job. Make sure you ask your children about the assembly. Try to always engage your children to talk about their experiences. Ask them, "What was your favorite part of the day;" or "What was your favorite part of today's assembly." Talking now will certainly pay off later as they get older and you still want them to confide in you.
