I am happy to announce to everyone that Karina Kling, our 5th grade student from Prairieview participated in the DuPage County Regional Spelling Bee which took place on February 17, 2010. There were students from 24 schools who participated in this annual event. We are proud to announce that Karina placed 9th out of 27 participants from grades 5th thru 8th. Congratulations to Karina for all of her hard work!!!Requests for conferences have been sent out this week. This set of conferences revolves around Math. However if you would like to meet with your child's homeroom teacher this is always an open option. Being a part of your child education should be foremost as a parent and showing that you are involved and caring is the first step. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the Olympics
